TDT at Tampa Bay Mini Maker Faire
Learning is for Everyone will be at the St. Petersburg Science Festival this Saturday, October 27, from 10am to 4pm.
We’ll have our award winning community based FIRST Tech Challenge high school robotics team, Team Duct Tape, on hand with their awesome scissor lift robot from last season, sharing their love of FIRST and showcasing their engineering prowess. And in tribute to our upcoming Tampa Bay Mini Maker Faire 2013 event, scheduled for March 23, we’ll be hosting “Junk Drawer Wars” , where event guests can compete in short timed sessions to solve build challenges.
We’ll also have duct tape crafts, our DIY video microscope and out-of-the-ordinary paper flyers, along with information about our upcoming TEDxYouth@TampaBay event , on December 2, and other great Curiosity Driven Learning opportunities!
The St. Petersburg Science Festival is free and open to the public. Check out the Exhibit Schedule, and make a day of it!
